PTR

Hmmm, to PTR or to not PTR… isn’t always an easy question for me. On the one hand I don’t want to get spoiled for new lore development. On the other hand I have to have a peek in advance in order to gauge the possible reaction of one of my characters to such new lore developments.
It is often a gut decision, and in hindsight I often come to the conclusion that the visit to the PTR wasn’t as necessary as I have imagined it to be.
So, dear readers (at least I hope I already have readers 
) how do you tackle this decision?
The PTR and previously the Beta have always been a bit of taboo for myself. From Vanilla through Wrath, I avoided participating as I didn’t want to ruin the surprise. With Cataclysm beta was intrigued, and well bored. I asked and got a Cata beta invite and ran with it. Great blog fodder as I explored the areas, tried new warlock spells, etc.
For the 4.1 patch, I have downloaded the PTR, but haven’t had a chance to even fire it up yet. At this moment, I barely have time to finish the dailies and a single Heroic. Maybe this weekend.
